Saturday Eric and I took a tour of the NICU unit. There is a reason they want you to see it in person before you show up with your child for the first time & I totally understand why. I have read about what to expect for 34 weeks and seen pictures of the babies with all the tubes & wires in them but I knew when I saw it all in person I would get emotional.
The positive look at things is you see kids in there that were born younger weeks than Brady will be & they are doing ok.
I think now I am just ready to start the process of getting him healthy now that we have had time to digest all that has happened and what to expect in the next coming weeks.
We are in count down mode - 6 more days & Brady will be coming! I am so excited and scared all at the same time.
